This is a blank PCB only for building a Manual Prom Programmer for 82s123, 82s23, 74s288, and 74s188 chips. This programmer is designed to be powered from a PC power supply or arcade power supply with 12v and 5v lines. Assembly requires soldering and basic electronics experience. This sale is for the Board ONLY! You will need to purchase all other components separately. NOTE – Please notice the orientation of the blue buttons when assembling this board. Programmer will not function correctly if buttons are installed backwards. NOTE #2 – PROM chips are one time write only. After building this board, it is advisable to test on an already written, “scratch”, chip so you don’t have to waste a new 82s123. *UPDATE* Version 1.5 corrects minor error and adds support for 74s288 and 74s188 chips. Note – To add support for these chips on v1.4 boards, change R7 from 4.7K to 1.3K and R11 from 91K to 82K. This will lower the VCC voltage from 10v to 9.2v and shorten the pulse time from 1 sec to .3 sec which works well with both 82s123/23 and 74s288/188.
